On the left side of Główna Street (formerly Saska Kępa) towards the Przyjaźni Bridge stands a two-storey building that once housed a famous liqueur factory owned by a Cieszyn entrepreneur Moritz Fasal. For many years, Moritz Fasal was a town councillor of the town of Cieszyn and one of the most important representatives of the Jewish religious community, as was his son and successor Adolf.
There was a company shop at the front and a small factory in the courtyard. From 1868 onwards, jellies, liqueurs and fruit juices were produced there.
The most popular drinks were Jarzębinówka and Fasalówka, which were sold not only in Austria-Hungary but also outside the borders of the monarchy. The drinks won many medals at international exhibitions, for example in Brussels and London. To advertise its products, the company used the figure of the famous Czech opera singer Emma Destinnová (1878-1930).
